How Origo works
A coin is born on Robinhood Chain, priced by its own curve from the first trade, and certified on Monero. Here is everything that holds for every one of them.
Ground rules
Each coin has a ceiling on the ETH it can hold, and only so many coins can exist.
Once a coin hits its ceiling, new buys wait. Sellers can always get out, and each sale frees room for buyers again.
When every place is taken, nobody can create another coin, while trading on the existing ones goes on unchanged.
Two roles can put buying and creating on hold for all coins, the guardian and the owner, and only the owner lifts the hold. Selling is out of reach for both.
Creating is limited to wallets the owner has approved, which says nothing about the quality of their coins. Every wallet may trade.
The gauge around each coin
A coin's board is framed by small ticks. One tick stands for 0.1 ETH of its ceiling, so the lit ticks show what the curve holds right now. Buys light more of them and sells dim them.
All ticks lit means the ceiling is reached and buying waits for a seller, while selling carries on. The gauge only mirrors the contract's numbers; it says nothing about where the price goes.
The numbers
Values tagged as contract readings come live from the chain; the rest come from the coin data service.

What could go wrong
- A contract flaw. ETH held by the contract could be lost or frozen. The design gives no role a way to stop selling, yet a flaw still could.
- Coin data falls behind. Lists, charts and totals may show stale numbers, while trades keep using the contract's live price.
- Creation rules change. The owner can approve or remove creators, or open creating to all. Trading is never affected.
- Buying goes on hold. The guardian or the owner can halt buys on all coins, say while something is investigated, and only the owner restarts them. Selling continues throughout.
- The number of places changes. The owner can add or remove places for new coins. Trading stays as it is, though more places let more ETH collect in the curves.
